| Description: |
Utilities Kingston is seeking a qualified consultant to provide riverbed and pipeline monitoring services across the Cataraqui River. Approximately 1km of HDPE infrastructure, consisting of one (1) watermain and two (2) sanitary forcemains, was installed in a common trench in the early 2000s and has experienced historical buoyancy‑related events. Following a 2021 buoyancy assessment, ongoing monitoring was recommended to track riverbed evolution and pipeline profile changes. The scope includes repeatable high‑resolution surveys, assessment of pipeline depth of cover and exposure, sub‑bottom characterization, and delivery of accurate, georeferenced datasets with professional interpretation to support long‑term asset management and risk‑based decision making. |
