In general terms, the purpose of this procurement is to select a qualified contractor which provides all construction and related services required for replacement of existing black poly water services using open cut and trenchless technology as specified on a live water main, complete with restoration, in selected neighborhoods in the west end of the City of Kingston.

The Corporation requests Bids for the following work on the Project: 

  1. 55 meters of short-side water service replacement by conventional method 

  2. 240 meters of long-side water service replacement by trenchless technology 

  3. 25 replacement curb stops. 

  4. Associated granular, concrete, asphalt, and sod restoration.
